The first is a twist on the Cinderella story as it tells the story from the perspective of the stepsister. The Stepsister's Tale is by Tracy Barrett. All I have read is the description, but it appears to be quite a switch-up of characters. It should be fun reading.
Next is Dangerous Deceptions, the sequel to Palace of Spies by Sarah Zettel. This book is historical fiction. It's set in the time of Kings and Queens and ladies-in-waiting. Our heroine has found herself move from the position of an orphaned child to lady-in-waiting to the Queen herself. But, she plays a roll much bigger than what meets the eye as she keeps her eyes and ears open.
Finally, here's one that isn't on the shelf yet, but will be soon. All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven is the story of two young people who literally meet on the edge - of the bell tower. The relationship that is forged between them could save both of their lives.
My reading list never seems to get any smaller because new books come in before I get the chance to read all of the old books. But, that's one of the fun things about books, there's always another one waiting.
