I've written about Earth Girl before, but this one is worth mentioning again. Earth Girl is written by Janet Edwards. This book helps the reader to recognize that all people have value. Earth Girl is followed by a sequel, Earth Star.
Siege and Storm by Leigh Bardugo is book two in a series. The first book is Shadow and Bone. This is for the fantasy lover. Our main character has a gift that has been hidden away until her best friend's life is in danger and the gift unleashes itself. This starts a whirlwind of changes that includes battling the dark forces.
Monument 14: Sky on Fire by Emmy Laybourne is also the second in a series. The first book is Monument 14 and follows the survival of a bus load of young people after a major disaster. The young people, as well as the adults, have to work together as they try to find out what happened and how to survive.
The Teens Top Ten are some of the best of the best. I hope you'll find something to enjoy.
