The first book was actually published in February but hasn't made it to our shelves yet. It is We Are Okay by Nina LaCour. This book is about family and survival. Our main character was raised by her grandfather. She grew up with a grandfather who loved her and taught her how to be independent. She had no idea how her life would change during her summer before college. She had no idea how she would survive and how her definition of family would be revised.
In March Blood Rose Rebellion by Rosalyn Eves will become available. Magic is something that only an elite group is allowed to practice. Most think that either you have magic or you don't. But, what would happen if magic was released so that everyone could access its power. There are many who want to find out by breaking the spell that binds magic to those select few.
The final book that I will mention is coming out in April. The Whole Thing Together is written by Ann Brashares. This author has written Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and other titles that deal with life and emotions. For those who are fans, I don't think you will be disappointed. This story follows two families that are really one family. The parents are divorced and remarried, but they share a house and the parents trade weeks at the house. This affects not only the children from the original family, but also the children from the new marriages. All the children want is to see everyone together.
